How do I do RC's on these dream signs?

Ive kept a dream journal for 2 weeks, and I've only remembered 1 dream per night. I go to school so I can't wake up 5 times. Anyway, I think I recognise my dream signs now. They are

1. my mom and dad (every dream)
2. family on holiday (every other dream)
3. waterslides (in about 4 dreams)

How do I do reality checks on something like holiday, and do you think I should do one everytime I see my parents (which is every 5 minutes)? I wish I had better dreams instead of holidays. I wanna ride a scooter on Venus playing Jimi Hendrix's stratocaster!

By the way I haven't had a lucid yet, I'll wait for the holidays (!!!!) so I can gain a bit of sleep later when I wake up at night.

I think it might help to do RC's every time you see your parents because then it becomes a habit that will get transferred into your dream.(I do not know whether your parents know about your attempt to attain lucidity because if they don't you might want keep it on the low. My parents were looking at me really stupid whenever I checked my hands when i saw them xD.) Furthermore you could increase your awareness to achieve lucidity. You can find a tutorial of KingYoshi in the attaining lucidity part of the forum. It's called All Day Awareness. (I couldn't post the link because you need to be a member for 7 days lol.)

Thanks! That might be a struggle since I see one of my parents just about every minute of the day. I'll give it a shot, and everytime I hear something about holidays, I'll do it then too.
