For the past two days I have really unrealistic dreams that really don't make sense. I wrote them down in my DJ here on DV. |

Awareness. Stop what you're doing and really question if you're dreaming or not. Look around you, noting the textures of objects, any smells; listen and see if peoples' conversations are realistic, see if you can feel gravity, etcetera. Then do a reality check to see if you're asleep or not. Reality feels realistic, but so do dreams, because we don't question anything in them, and we don't stop to pay attention. The best way to become lucid, which usually involves you becoming aware in the dream, is to practice awareness in waking life. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
