      A Possible Dream Sign?

For the past two days I have really unrealistic dreams that really don't make sense. I wrote them down in my DJ here on DV.
I have never had a lucid dream yet and do you guys have any tips to let me recognize how unrealistic my dreams are?

Get into the habit of performing reality checks (there's a guide in the tutorial section). Eventually, you'll start doing them in dreams and voila, you're lucid. =D

Awareness. Stop what you're doing and really question if you're dreaming or not. Look around you, noting the textures of objects, any smells; listen and see if peoples' conversations are realistic, see if you can feel gravity, etcetera. Then do a reality check to see if you're asleep or not. Reality feels realistic, but so do dreams, because we don't question anything in them, and we don't stop to pay attention. The best way to become lucid, which usually involves you becoming aware in the dream, is to practice awareness in waking life.

You can use dream signs as reality checks to test if you're dreaming or not, but in those cases where you don't have any in that particular dream, a simple nose-plug or finger-count RC works well.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
