Unhappy 7 Recalls, one false awakening no lucidness

Still in pursuit of my first lucid dream. Ever since I started writing my dreams down (three days) I have been recalling 4-5 dreams a night. last night I could recall 5 Vivid dreams and 2 unclear ones.

I even had a false awakening where I literately leaned over to write down my dream and the whole page was full in tiny font that looked nothing like my hand writing. Why aren't I becoming lucid?

      Thanks heaps

Make a note to yourself to always do a reality check when you think you have woken up.

Don't worry - it takes a really long time. I've had over 800 dreams recalled in the last year and a half but only 15 LDs. Keep at it - you'll get it eventually! It's a long process that could take years, but it definitely pays off once you finally do get LDing every night.

      Lucid Mind reading! (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was standing at school somewhere don't remember the location exactly but it was an open area. Two people I know from school where standing next to me, Phenonix on my right and this girl from my economics class last year. We were talking about something then Phenonix said "I love how easy it is to read peoples minds in dreams."

Right here I knew I was dreaming, I didn't think to do a reality check as my awareness wasn't very high. I knew from reading forum posts the first thing I had to do was stabilize, I walked backwards trying to find something to touch then I thought about my walking self in bed.
I lost lucidity here, I didn't wake intill after my next dream.

you have not been at it long and have excellent recall already. and your first lucid as well! you could be a natural.

what techniques are you trying to use?
      Back into lucidity since 4.10

It's been a week now and I have really good recall but still only that one short lucid . I think it will come just need to practise for ADA and reality checks. I've been trying DILD and MILD.

a week is nothing. many people go a month or more before their first lucid. many people have to work for several weeks just to get their dream recall up.

It took me nearly a year just to have one =[. I guess you must wait but with that good recall, it may take a couple weeks for you.
