      Dreams aren't vivid

Im trying to get my dream recall up but whenever i have a dream that i vaguely remember it feels like a day-dream. I dont really know how to explain it but its not very vivid and unless i think about it i just assume it was a day-dream i had upon waking.
It almost seems as if my dreams are transparent or faded in some way.

Is there any way to get vividness up.

You can try to take some vitamins, but first, try setting alarms during the night to wake you up, say a mantra or something then. Or drink a lot of water and you will naturally wake up after REM. You need to try to catch yourself at that time because you will remember your dreams vividly

Thanks I'll be sure to try this tonight.
That's the thing about lucid dreaming, you only get a chance once a night.

Try writing down your dreams right when you wake up and look over them occasionally. This will help you be able to remember the feelings and such you've had during the dreams and will increase the vividness of your dreams. I heard peanut-butter before bed works too . Good luck!
