      WILDing helping my dream recall?

I've always had horrible dream recall, remembering only one every few months. When I started keeping a dream journal, it got better. Better=a few fragments a night. Then I did WILD for a few nights, and each night my dream recall was better. Now, I've had one lucid and one semi-lucid using mostly WILD. But, whenever I try MILD, DILD, etc, without using a little WILD, my recall is practically nothing! I experimented with it for a while, and every night I use WILD I remember a pretty good dream, and nights that I don't I might remember one short one, a fragment, or nothing at all. Is it just me relaxing during WILD that helps my recall, and has this happened to any one else?

      P.S.
My WILD's rarely work, usually I relax and my legs tingle a bit, and sometimes, if I'm lucky, I'll feel kind of giddy and vibrations, but I don't think I've ever actually been in SP.

My theory is because with WILD you don't lose consciousness, thereby meaning you're more prone to remember what's going on. With DILD and such you become conscious after being in a delta state, so you're naturally not going to be as with it as you would be normally.

Not entirely sure if this has happened to me, but I'll keep my wits about me and report back if I get any results. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah WILDs are always going to be better because you are usually concious the whole time, especially if you don't fade out of conciousness towards the end. But it won't help your recall in other areas, that's where the Dream Journal comes in.
