I got this friend who has dreams pretty often, but he can't see in them. He says he hears stuff and knows what is going on, but he just can't see anything.

Does he have lucid dreams? If so, maybe he could command brightness. Or maybe he just needs to try opening his eyes.

I think he thinks its kinda wack-o (its hard talking to your friends about dreaming... they think your a new age hippie), but he sounded partially interesting in finding out why he can't see...
I have found that most of the time if a person is having a problem like that (which i've never actually heard of not being able to see in a dream) but maybe you should just tell him 'you can see, you just have to open your eyes'

interesting never happened to me... I guess he'll have to open his eyes or something. I've heard this happens to blind people... since they've never seen their dreams are hearing-based. Even though, for a person who can see... I don't know.
