Dream Recall Count to begin LD-ing

      Hey All,

Lately I've been thinking how each induction technique tutorial mentions right at the start that you should get your Dream Recall count up to at least 1 dream per night before attempting any induction techniques - but it never mentions whether this 1 dream per night count is based on dreams journaled straight after having the dream or whether the 1 dream must be remembered after waking up in the morning (which I think is a little harder)... any thoughts?

(I'm not too sure I did a good job at typing out my thoughts! still, if anyone understood what I said i'd love to hear your opinion!)

It doesn't matter too much as to when you remember it, but you should be able to recall it easily. For most people, it's easier to do this in the morning because the dream is fresh in their mind, but others may not remember the dream clearly until they come across something that "triggers" the memory. If one had a dream about a tiger, for instance, they might see a cat in real life and that can trigger them to remember the dream. Sometimes this happens to me, but it's a gamble if you don't remember it (or don't bother writing it down) in the morning - you may not remember it later.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Hey Puffin

So basically your saying that its not necessary to remember 3/4 dreams per night (by waking up after each dream) to begin LD-ing? So long as you can remember 1 dream a night attempting induction techniques is ok?

Also - I've been working on your SAT method. You'll be happy to know it almost led to 2 lucids! unfortunately both times my RC said i wasn't dreaming great technique though! I intend to work on ADA too now after i practice SAT for a while!
