Your best bet is to train yourself to notice when you wake up during the night (which you do multiple times) and then write your dreams down then. I used to do that back when I was really dedicated to writing down everything I possibly could. |

I've been recalling about 2 dreams every morning this week, but you'll understand the problem after reading this. Lately I've been waking up earlier than I normally do, say I want to wake up at 9:00, I'll wake up at around 7 or 8. When I wake up at that time, I'll try to recall my dreams as I'm drifting back to sleep, and most of the time, nothing. The catch is, when I wake up later, I do have recall, but it wasn't from a dream in the night, it was a dream I had just had, in that 1-2 hour span. This peeves me, I feel cheap, like I'm not really working on my recall skills if the dream I'm remembering feels like it happened less than a minute ago. Sometimes though while writing that I may remember a fragment from another in the night though, so that's something at least. |
