What the what? How did I miss those OBVIOUS signs?

Haha, last night. I actually dreamt that I was telling someone how to get lucid, what lucid dreaming meant to me, and arranged to meet them in a lucid dream. I never got lucid once (doh!)

I then dreamt about explaining to this person what SP was, and how it was scary but wouldn't hurt you. In the dream a great wave of water (like a tsunami) was washing over us, but I kept telling them to remain calm.

I then told them that hypnogogia would follow, which appeared as some ghost-like tortured souls which screamed in scary, painful human voices as they rushed by.

I still didn't get lucid. I do like how my brain turned SP and hypnogogic auditory hallucinations into waves of water, and screaming ghosts lol.

WHY NO LUCIDITY!?

Ahh well, there is always tonight.

Hehe it used to happend to me as well when I first started out. I explained to my friend that my hands have 12 fingers on each hand when I dream "Like now" I told them.
And they even told me then "Wait wouldn't that mean that you are dreaming now?" And I was like "Haha yeah it probably would" and continued dreaming non-lucid.

Then I wake up and realize that I was an idiot. GENIUS.

Glad it isn't just me! Funny isn't it though? Your DC must have been nice to try and convince you you were dreaming!

That's crazy annoying. I'm no expert, but maybe try to take your reality checks more seriously, consider both possibilities as you do it and imgine what it'd be like if you were dreaming

Just last night I had a DC telling me rules to a game, and talking about lucidity while doing so, and I quote "it's like become lucid while dreaming, Right?!" With a smirk on his face, that I so badly wish I could have slapped off... LOL
