One of the first things I learned when it comes to dream recall (and the one EVERYBODY will tell you) is to be still a while when you wake up. Go through your dream and try to remember all the bits and pieces you can. Make sure to write it down, too.
1. First thing would be to start writing your dreams, fragments, or even just feelings or keywords (if that's all you remember) to a dream journal. It's lets your mind know, that dreaming and remembering is important to you.
2. Drink water before bed and each time you wake up. There is a good chance it will wake you up right after a dream.
3. Use mantra as you falling asleep "I remember my dreams", "I wake up after each dream and remember it".
4.Learn to recognize micro-awakenings that each of us have after each REM (main dreaming stage) is over.
If you can't remember your dreams, try this Good luck :alien:
Moved to Dream Signs and Recall
To get calm and peaceful dreams you need to get calm and peaceful sleep. So don't fall asleep stressed or with some worry on your mind.
And if possible, don't go to sleep too late.
Stress relief meditation is a great tool that I use every night. It makes my dreams less random and easer to recall since it's not a random mash of information and instead a more stable dreams that I don't remember because I lay still in bed and recall them, but because I experience them and remember them upon awakening, just as you remember what you did yesterday not primarily because you have to think back about yesterday, but because you experienced it and it's already in the memory in a sense.
I have written about stress relief in my previous posts, so I wont go over it here again, it's not advanced it just takes time to write.
Sweet (remembered) dreams! ;)
