So, starting to get worried, help?

Last night I did WBTB and in short I couldn't remember any of my dreams. In the last week I haven't been able to remember two entire nights of dreaming. Does this happen to everyone. It's particularly frustrating. My dream recall is usually pretty great, I just need reassurance before this turns into a complex. When I woke up this morning I tried for a good hour, but could only remember images that I couldn't describe in my journal.

Ya happens to me every now and then. Usually it's the way I wake up.

If I go a few nights without remembering any dreams I usually try to use a mantra about remembering them. Something setting an alarm for a time when you don't usually wake up can help.

Give it a few days and it will hopefully pass.

I use a mantra every night before I sleep "I'll remember my dreams" and so far it has in fact helped my dream recall, also if you are stressed before you sleep it would probably not help you much so try to go to sleep happy .

Problem is, how do you focus on dream recall and LD? I guess I would need to take a week to just focus on dream recall. Thank you both for the replies.

Pretty much what everyone else has been saying is true. Dream recall is a very fluctuating thing and EVERYONE gets those random days where they can't recall anything. Keep your head high and you'll recall a dream in no time.

First most important tip do not worry about failures. Do not bother yourselves with "Oh god... I do not remember my dreams this day too..." and never force yourselves to do something you do not want to. It's causing with negative emotions and you brain do not like stuff like that. Wishes from here.

I actually use 2 mantras at the same time "I'm in a lucid dream" and "I'll remember my dreams".

Whenever I use two mantras (while going to sleep) words start gettin jumbled and what not lmao.

Kudos. Maybe breaking them up like you do. I don't know why I kept them in one sentence?

I forget dreams every now and then, normally I have to just write notes of what i can remember to fight off my OCD about having every day accounted for. Sometimes the notes remind me. It's not the most organized dream journal but hey, what ya gonna do?

Like everyone else said, recall drops happen, don't be worried, your recall will be back, think positive!
