A New Way to Remember Dreams!

      Hello

Throughout my time practicing LDing I used to struggle to remember my dreams from the night before, mostly at times when I was too lazy to write in a DJ. Through this process of desperately trying to remember my dreams, however, I developed an easy and painless way to remember at least 1, if not multiple dreams a night at times when you do not recall any dreams when you wake up. Personally, I have never read anywhere about people using this sort of technique in order to recall their dreams, but if this sort of method, or something similar to it, is already being utilized in the dreaming community please enlighten me in the comments. :p

      The Method:
We all know by now that dreaming encompases aspects of our daily lives, especially the events the day before you go to bed. Because of that, what I do every morning now, kind of like a morning ritual, is to go over in detail everything I did the day before. After every event, I will ask my self "Did I dream of this?" or "Did I dream of him/her"? Usually, I will hit some kind of event or activity I participated in the day before that was included in one of my dreams, resulting in me remembering that dream. It also helps to focus on people you talk to daily or places you are present at often, which in my case is my school. That's all there is to it. I do this everyday when ever i have free time in the morning, such as eating breakfast or during a morning shower, and can usually recall one or two more dreams in addition to what i recalled during the night. Hope this helps!

      Great advice!

I'd just point out 1 small thing if I may:

      - Try to focus on emotional content most of all, like the argument you had, or the bad time you spent (even if it didn't seem a big deal), during that work shift. This is because while the previous day content can be delayed in dreams for a few days, it seems that emotional content is very quick at showing up.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the tip

Trying out MILD? This is how you become skilled at it.

      That's an interesting idea!
Too bad it would not work for me since most of my dreams are not from the day before for some reason and usually completely random, oh well, i am pretty sure it can work for many people.

I wish someone would tell my dreams that fact!
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.
