I have some of that too, like I will have wonderful dream recall for a while and then a week of none, and then again much better recall. I think that's normal to some extent. The main goal for improving dream recall is to increase the number of nights when recall is good, and reduce the number of nights with bad recall or none, but with the understanding that bad recall nights may happen to anyone - there are few people who can sustain great recall consistently all the the time, but it is certainly possible to improve one's overall recall most nights. Also joining dream competitions on DV helps if you are a competitive person - I had a week of no dream recall, but as soon as the competition that I am in now started my recall improved drastically (now if only I could get lucid again!). |
