      How to increase recall??

I can't seem to remember anything sometimes when I wake up :/ Sometimes I only remember fragments of the last dream :/ I can't write a dj as I don't remember anything

If you do an induction process for relaxing your body before you go to sleep. Then when you get to the end of it tell yourself to remember what happens. Around the same time that you tell yourself to wake in the dream. Pre hypnotic suggestion.

Helo friend. Sorry to see you're having trouble remembering. I also do but i'm getting better.
You have to train your mind to remember. Because your mind just wants to move on after it wakes up. It doesn't really care much about if it remembers the dreams. But You and your mind are two different people. So you have to tell your mind that you want to remember.

There way to do it is train your mind to remember by telling yourself that you remember your dreams. Spend time while closed eyes(when ready to sleep) and during the day telling yourself that you remember your dreams. Write it, say it, whatever. like a mantra.

Clearing your mind and having awareness also is important. If you don't meditate now and have never, then it's a good idea to try. You see the whole lucid dreaming and dreaming makes us better people.

My Dream journal, i had nothing or almost nothing the first pages since i started like 3 weeks ago. Now i've been doing meditation and mantras and awareness and now my dreams when i remember them are 1 , 2 or 3 pages. (im not saying full size big notebook, i mean one of those MEAD or black white 9.75 in X 7.5 in

Write DJ even if you don't remember any, something positive like "No recall but it will get better!". Also here's a good thread with recall info: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-sign...ompendium.html

Not good myself - but what helps me is lying completely still and leave my eyes closed directly after waking up and recapitulating what I got.
To do this is not so easy though - and it does by far not always work that I do this - but it can also be included into the stuff to tell yourself before falling asleep.
Like - "When I wake up, I keep my eyes closed, lie still and recapitulate my dream!"

Also - I have an I-Phone lying in my bed, dictation-function open - so I just need to press two buttons and can then dictate.
I started out transcribing that into my DJ - then let is slip and just dictated - this wasn´t good.
So now - I usually wait over the day - for some more details to show up, of which I make short notes - and then transcribe from the dictation.
Since there is often stuff, I do not want to have publicly on here - I had to now also open a document for these things on my pc.

It seems with writing something down - it comes much more alive.
Edit: Sometimes it feels I got almost nothing - but then it fills a page anyway - even if it is only details - the feeling to have written something longer brings you into the expectation to have something longer to write.

If you don't remember anything and can't keep a night journal, then keep a day journal and when you wake and don't remember anything, go through that previous day and whatever feelings you had from the dream. Try to connect. Then when you get some recall, just switch to the day journal.

Okay , I think my problem is that my memories get jumbled when many elements of a dream are similar to previous dreams or life experiences . For eg. lets say I am addicted to a game and I dream myself as the character of the game , I am then unable to seprate my dream experience , visualizations while meditating and the real life experience . What do I do then?

I feel that I am dreaming a lot but I am not remembering it all cuz of the above problem :/
