Post Getting lucid already :), Dream Recall tips?

Hey guys just thought I'd let you know I was gaining lucidity after just two days of returning to it . Pretty excited. One problem is I don't remember the dreams completely, I know ill learn how to control fairly easier seeming I've had great lucids in the past.
K I'm wondering if anyone has tips on dream recall and recording. Big problem for me is I need to set an alarm across the room to even get up if I got to, and I find when I get up I forget most of the dream. Any tips at all anyone else who has this problem would be appreciated!
      Thanks in advance

Relax before you go to sleep, Keep a dream journal, tell your subconscious you will dream recall, When you wake up, you should remember the dream and keep practicing this..

Before you get up to even turn off your alarm start trying to recall as much as you can. Write it down asap. The more I started paying attention to my dreams and writing them down the easier it became to recall them.

I always seem to remember my dreams by just wanting to. When I don't want to remember my dreams (almost never) I don't.

Use mantras as you are falling asleep. Good mantras for this are something along the lines of "I will remember my dreams tonight" or "I will have better recall tonight". Also, with the alarm clock scenario and you have to get up to turn it off, let it go off for a little bit (If you can). If you can, then let it go off for a little bit while you sit there recalling your dream, and once you feel you have all you can remember you can go turn it off. Let's say you can't let it go off though, as soon as you get up to turn it off, don't start out your day. Sit down, take a breath, and try to recall your dreams. It may be harder after moving, but it will be easier than doing it after you've gotten ready for the day and everything.

Try to get a stable sleeping schedule, and keep a dream journal, recall will improve with time.
Is your alarm one of those loud/annoying ones? If so, get more smooth/nice alarm, possible one of those ones that can disable itself after an period of time, loud alarms are an known recall killer for some people.
Also try waking up right at the end of the dream, for that you can try mantra "I wake up after each dream and remember it" or similar, dream recall is easiest to do right at the end of REM cycle. Staying still in the bed when waking up also helps.

Thanks for the replies everyone I have a legit dream journal now, my sleep's more regular and I'm having great recall. Latel ive been just recalling in my mind, but starting today I'm making sure I write each dream down. Had a pretty sweet wet dream recall this morning lol. Any tips on remembering RC's?
