      easy way to improve RECALL

      http://www.saltcube.com/timer.swf

i put speakers near my bed. play with the volume until you find the exact setting which wakes you up. now turn the volume down a notch or so. have the timer playe a sound (i prefer "tone") every 10 minutes or so throughout the night. seems to work for me.

      hmmmh...

It was hard trying to fall asleep because I was expecting the sudden "BEEP!"

I had it set pretty loud but still it didn't wake me up once I was asleep...

But I DID have a longer non-lucid dream in the morning (that I can remember pretty well)
      so thats a small plus

I'll try this again, though, sometime...

You're more propably to become lucid in, and recall your dreams from the latest hours of sleep when you're sleeping lighter. I think anything that disturbs your sleep, makes you sleep lighter and therefore might help with lucid dreaming and dream recall.

Someone reported that when he slept with more lights on, he remembered more dreams and had some LDs too. Other disturbing things could be unnormal temperature, harder mattress, something shaking you a bit every now and then etc. Use your imagination, try different things and report how they worked

hmmmh... my parents are complaining about 'weird noises' every 10min in the morning...

I need to switch to headphones if I want to continue trying this.

The timer isnt working for me, I click on Start Timer and nothing at all happens, no sounds appear or anything...

thats funny as hell dude. i just noticed something like this lasntight when i was adjusting the volume. i hit one of the siren sounds, and i noticed how it almost sounded like a moaning or something. yeah that would be weird to have your parents hearing that all like "wtf is he doing or watching in there". you might have luck with the volume really low. depending on how light you sleep, it may sound more loud once you fall asleep.

I'll try this, I have a modded PC fan right next to my bed. Normally it spins very slow, without even making a sound but I can make it go faster... I'll tell if it worked!
