Remembering dreams throughout the day

Sometimes I remember my dreams right after I wake up from them then I forget about them after I sleep again. However, at some random time during the day, I would remember that dream I forgot about. Like for example, I had a dream where I was moving any object using my mind, AKA telekinesis. In the dream, I even showed it to some of my friends and tried to impress other people with my telekinetic powers. This might sound weird but I only remembered the dream during the afternoon but not when I woke up from that dream. Is this normal for anyone else?

Sometimes it happens this way. I usually find if I wake immediately from a dream, my recall is very good--similar to recall after a lucid dream, which, if one manages to retain lucidity all the way through, is similar to waking life memories. On the other hand, if I spend a lot of time in the hypnopompic state, or just wake up too slowly and without mindfulness, my recall is a sort of "whoa . . . was I dreaming just now?" It's at these times that a dream might come back to me during waking life.

This happens to me quite frequently, especially if I see an object that was also present in my dream. Once I see it, the dream will just come flooding back to me like a cliche flashback on a TV show. Glad to know I'm not the only one it happens to.

Thats normal mate , memorizing ur dreamings just like that isn't easy , you need to wake up and write them directly , then u will memorize what you wrote (ur dream) =)
