Lightning a recurrent dreamsign - how to RC that?

Hey all,

been away from DV a long time and just got back into keeping a dream journal and such. I've found that lightning storms are in my dreams A LOT but I have no idea how I can possibly use that as a reality check. I think we maybe get 2 lots of thunder and lightning in my part of the world every year. Would loading up a youtube video with lightning work several times a day, or should I start looking for something else to use to trigger my RC?

Hello,

Depending on how the lightning appears in your dream, you could either try RC'ing everytime you see a flash of light? (Light turns on, etc), or whenever a sudden loud rumbling sound happens.

I would visualize watching a lightning storm in your mind, and then have your imaginary self "realize" you are dreaming, and continually practice that during the day. You can then try to incubate that using MILD before your next REM cycle.
