Is this good recall?

(By the way, sorry if this seems like a copy of another post. I thought it would be far too awkward to hijack another person's post)

Anyways, I have about 6 recalled dreams per week, maybe 2-1 every week lucid taking a guess. And yes, sometimes I do have three or four dreams a night, in fact lots of times.

Usually I have nights where I can't remember a single fragment, but then those are followed most of the time by a dream or two. Last night I didn't have any dreams, the night before I didn't have any either, but since I had a lucid dream after I woke up in the morning and fell back to bed, I'm not too concerned.

I keep a dream journal, just got back to it (And by 'just' I mean a week or a week and a half ago, not that long) after a month of inactivity since I realized how much that was damaging recall,
so I guess after that i'm mostly back to my natural levels.

I've had about 10-15 LDs so far (lost count, I know i'm lazy), so is this good recall? I've been seriously trying to improve recall since about a month ago, perhaps a month and a half. I naturally have acceptable recall but it is getting better.

Yes this is pretty good. Minimum you should be remembering 1-2 dreams per night on average. Aim to remember dreams every night as this means more chances to become lucid. If necessary, use the 90 minute technique (wake yourself up every 90 minutes after 6 hours asleep until you get up for the day) and try to work out your body's sleep cycle.

When you remember full dreams, how well do you remember them? Are the images clear and vivid and can you remember sensory input clearly? Do you remember a flow of events?

Yeah, usually I remember sensory input well, and the dreams that are not hazy are extremely vivid, and flow of events usually is pretty obvious in those non-hazy dreams (which are pretty common)

And average, maybe 1 1/2? Of course you can't remember half of a dream, but lots of times I have 3-4 dream nights so that changes the average.

OK that's very good :) Definitely acceptable for lucid dreaming, but there's always room for improvement, so keep up your dream journal and try to remember as much as you can every night. Eventually your nights will be packed with lots of vivid memorable dreams.

My dream recall seems to be lessening, somehow, still having those lucid dreams but it seems a bit unpredictable now. Now I have nights where I remember nothing back to back more and more often.
Is this just a normal dry spell, or am I doing something wrong?

Dream journal whenever I remember something, as many RCs as I can remember to do.

Could be just a dry spell, OR you might not be waking up after a REM period. Try going to bed or waking up at a different time.
If nothing works, you COULD wake yourself up every 90 minutes after the first 5-6 hours of sleep (but not too often or you'll be sleep deprived) or use an app to analyse your sleep cycle.

It 'seems' to have 'possibly' went away, so I'm guessing dry spell for now. And at that point in time I was slacking off with the RCs, so that might have impacted my recall.

I am getting better recall super quickly (guess that dry spell ended) but I am getting very hazy lucid dreams, which is concerning me. Probably a result of not doing reality checks, I'm trying to do more RCs now though. Should be pretty easy to get back in the flow. Has this (hazy and short lucid dreams while not doing RCs) happened to you? I've been trying to upkeep my dream journal too. It's tough but it really helps.

I haven't had any LD's, so I'm not 100% sure on the matter, But are you sure that these "Lucid dreams" are actual lucid dreams?
Because I remember two instances where I was so certain I had a lucid dream, but on further investigation and research, the turned out to be merely normal dreams ABOUT being lucid.

(These "Lucid dreams" Were just as hazy and unclear as the rest of my dreams at the time)

Essentially your brain is being a dick and dreaming about being lucid, whilst not actually being so. Either that maybe you just need to focus in on your lucids?

Tons of people have suggested doing the "Inspect your hands" Trick to increase awareness/vividness in the dream.

But from the rest of it it sounds like your recall is fairly decent.

Well, good luck with that! And yes, they certainly were lucid dreams. I had control and marveled in an obvious context of knowing about the dreamstate. My dream recall seems to be getting better. Slowly, but surely.
