      Listening to music while sleeping

I usually listen to music while sleeping and in the morning i don't remember a single thing about my dream. Could that be that i don't remember my dreams?

I've had lucid dreams with and without music on the background.
Also I don't notice a difference in recalling my dreams.
I think it could influence your dreams? But I'm not sure.
While lucid I did hear some sounds and placed them in a dream context at the moment, when I woke up I realized it was my music.

But try sleeping without music for a few days and find out?

Generally it shouldn't hurt your recall except when it is so prominent that all your attention shifts to the music at the moment of waking up. If you, as soon as you wake up, think about other stuff than your dreams chances are great that you forget most of it. Also, if you're comfortable with sleeping with music on (which I am not, unfortunately), try to incorporate binaural beats in your playlist right around your REM phases. Certain frequencies in this music stimulate parts of the brain that are involved with lucidity (I'm not an expert on this, correct me if I'm wrong) and it might increase your chances. For example, this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ra1iWqQBcp4

It has a voice track saying ''The next time I'm dreaming, I realise that I'm dreaming............Am I dreaming?...........Is this a dream?" constantly looping over some binaural beats. I tried using it with a WBTB but I can't fall asleep because of it.
