Share your way of documenting dreams

      Someways could be
      !.writing them down
      2.writing a song
      3.make a movie
      4.drawing

These are the only ways i can think of but share what you use.

When im bored in school i like to sketch my dreams out like a comic book and then sometimes later on redo it on the computer

Oh, just a normal text file on a computer.

However, my dreams are often jumping-off places for stories.

I just try to write down the dream in each detail, focusing on those details that appear irrelevant, since they later emerge as the real key to the dream meaning.

When I'm too late or not willing to write, I just put some ideas and I come back later to write the full story (I know that is not good, since many parts fade away).

Once written, I usually put a title on each dream. I find this useful.

Afterward I write also the interpretation emerged and other comments about the dream.

My dream journal is a nice notebook made of thick brown paper.

just to let you guys know i used to type up my dreams on this website

      www.dreamjournal.net

      its really good

when your done it even counts the keywords and interpreteds it for you

it keeps count of each keyword every dream

so you can check in a couple of weeks and see what your dream sign is

      heres a example of mine

      I had trouble with recall.
But I usually do not have a very good dream recall.

Are you implying that there is something common to each of us which would prevent recalling in these days? For instance: magnetic storms or so? I guess that dreaming is connected also to something outside us, not only inside us.

I write my dreams down in a hardback notebook, and then i copy them into my DJ on DV, sometimes adding bits in if something jumps out at me.

I write in a notebook if I think the dream is fading fast, otherwise I type it straight on to the computer (either into a text file or to my blog).

I have tried doing drawings of my dreams, but it is very difficult! And very frustrating because I am an illustrator and I can't draw things out of my own mind. Grr. It's like trying to look directly at a faint star... if you look too hard you can't see it any more.

Yes,thats exactly what i'm impyling.I don't know about magical storms or anything thing...i'm just saying i was having great recall, and then all of a sudden....it was gone...i wanted to find out why,but then when i look on the forums....i also noticed alot of ppl were having dream recall problems....maybe its a time of year...month...or even possibly the full moon...i don't know..i'm just saying there could be somthing,i know that things that happen outside us can have an effect on our dreams...theres gotta be somthing going on...

I write what I can remember down when I wake up on a scrap piece of paper which I carry around and write on when I remember something else. I sometimes draw if I'm short on time and I copy it into my dream journal later, which is a hard back note book if you were wondering.
I watch anime, that makes me different.

I have a notebook I keep next to my bed with my dream dictionary (I guess I hope having them there will subliminally massage the idea of dream recall into my unconscious). I write my dreams down as soon as I get up, and then copy them into my DVDJ when I get home from work. If it's one I remember, sometimes I'll just go ahead and type it into my DJ while I'm working.

Interestingly, I have discovered that I like to write in illegable cursive first thing in the morning.

I have a journal that I use to jot down notes from when I wake up in the middle of the night. Then, in the morning I return to my notes and write out my full dream. I then usually write my morning dream (if I have one) right after the first one, no notes required, because I just woke up from it.
