Garbled notes and ramblings

Ever since starting my dream journal my reacall has greatly improved, but I've been realising something funny lately. I seem to wake up around 6 every morning on my own (which leads to great oppurtunities for multiple dreams as I don't need to ba up untill eight). Whenever I wakeup up I jot down the important points of my dream so that I can remember it and write it out in the morning. I'm usually half asleep when I do this, but I try to focus really hard on writing neatly and making sense, and it all does when I write it. But when I wake up in the morning and read it, it is mostly just incomprehensible chickenscratch. Some points are too messy to read, and others just make no sense at all. I can always figure out enough to remember my dream, and it isn't a problem. I just think it's pretty funny and was wondering whether anyone else gets this?

Yeah, that's what I get if I try to just hit "important points" -- funny what your mind thinks is important when you're groggy at 6am. :P

That's why I started trying to write my dreams in more detail. When I go back and review them later, I don't want to spend any extra time going "WTF did I mean by that?!" :D
