Boring dreams
My recall is pretty good - only problem is my dreams have become seriously ordinary/boring during the last week or so. For example dreaming about a day at work or visiting my parents with nothing out of the ordinary in them, i.e. no dream signs!
Anyone else had this problem, any tips for resolving it?

I have that problem quite frequently, the majority of my dreams are like what happens during my normal day, once I dreamed about going to school, and there were only like two things out of the ordinary. I'm actually starting to think that I should make my school and home a dreams sign, along with my friends.
Although last night was a very good one for me, I remember 4 dreams, and they were all out of the ordinary, but in the same places as usual (my grandmas house)
Well thats all I got on this subject, I think I'm going to do RC's everytime I walk into my house/school, or see my friends, because that is the main thing I dream about at the current monent in time.

Thanks for that. My parents house has been in every one of my dreams this week so gonna try it as a dream sign.
On saying that things got a little bit more creative last night after trying vitamin B6 - morphing moons in the sky and poodle dogs sitting in trees!

I thin I am going to have to get my hands on some of that stuff. All of my dreams seem to be boring, pointless, and completely random.

Interestingly enough, my "boring" dreams seem to be the ones in which I most easily realize that I'm dreaming. Perhaps this is because nothing is happening to distract me from analyzing the situation, and I often just "feel" that something isn't right, and that I must be dreaming.
When I have dreams with bizarre happenings, I seem to rarely go lucid.

that is what I am starting to think hawk, even though I have never been lucid yet. It seems since I always do RC's around my house now, that I will eventually do it in my dream.

i have much better LD's when i go lucid during a boring dream. going lucid during something like a nightmare causes me to try and change too much too fast. during a boring dream you can start w/ something simple, like walking towards a more interesting place

One of the first times I went lucid was a completly boring dream. I went out to eat at some weird restaurant, with two people I didn't know and my sister. I new something was up because nothing was really going on (Besides me seeing everything in the third person perspective and I didn't seem to notice that... ). Like Hawk said, it can be easier to realize your dreaming because there is nothing to distract you.

sweet, that means I have a good chance of becoming lucid in most any given dream, because the large majority of my dreams are boring.
