I have no dream recall at all now, and i was doing so good.

A few months ago, i started trying lucid dreaming, and it was working out pretty well. Then, recently, i have experienced NO dream recall, and i doubt i have been lucid. When i wake up, no matter how much sleep i have, i can not remember anything i might have dreamed. Sometimes it's there for a second, but by the time i get up to write it down it's all dissapeared.

This is upsetting me to no end, i would really like to know what goes on in my dreams. Are there any techniques that would help me?

Has anything changed in your life lately that may have prompted this change in lucidity and recall? If so, identifying the source or reason may be the first step. Sometimes fixing the underlying cause will cure the problem.

If there is nothing that may have caused the problem, you may want to check out the tutorials list on this site. Trying the exercises and WILD, DILD, etc. may increase your recall.

Don't let it frustrate you - maybe you're trying too hard and shutting it out instead. Relax and when you are meant to start recalling them again, you will.

      Good Luck.

Well there are many things you can try. One thing you can do is first of all check out my tutorial about dream recall. Anyways, when going to bed, resolve to remember your dreams. Just tell yourself you want to remember your dreams. Also/or have the intention to wake up in the middle of your sleep session, say, 4. You should wake up and then try to remember your dreams.

Lastly, this should work. If you remember your dreams only for a second, say what you recall OUT LOUD. This puts it into "awake" memory. Most people's dreams are wiped out when you wake up, but it's always easier to remember waking memories (one reason being that we practice so much at it ). So say you vaugely recall a machine and a pink clown. Say aloud "I was controlling a machine that ran over a pink clown." Write that down if you can then see if more things come back to you. Also if you are in a good mindset thinking about your dreams during the day something can trigger a memory.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, i'll try them. I've been pretty stressed out with school lately, so that could be a factor.

And no, im not on any drugs
