I think I am a lucid dreamer but I dont know
Since I was 11 or 12 (I am 15 now) when I was in a dream I knew I was dreaming, usually from something that happened. Sadly, I dont remember most of my dreams. I am lucky if I remember 12 in a year. I tried the tactic outlined on this site, and I woke up after the first REM cycle. But I am the deepest sleeper you will ever meet. My alarm stopped waking me up around the same time I started remembering my dreams.
So I need to work on dream recall really badly. I have lots of self-control and patience. But I have a gut feeling that the way suggested on the site here will not work. I have learnt to trust my gut feelings. Does anyone have an alternitive?

I'm in roughly the same boat as you here, though my recall was originally MUCH worse. Say, once or twice a year I'd remember a dream. The alarm clock technique IS working for me, sort of, but not as well as I'd hoped. I think it's a matter of playing around with the times until you get it right.
