Glasses

I have quite an odd dreamsign. Usually, in my dreams I am wearing glasses. I wear contacts normally and havent worn glasses in perhaps 8 years. In my dreams, everything looks slightly distorted and blurry, and naturally I assume that I am wearing glasses (for some odd reason) and I try to take them off.

After I take off my glasses my dream immediatley becomes insanely realistic and vivid, but then 3 seconds later it becomes blurry again, and I realize I am still wearing glasses. I may repeat this process several times, taking off dozens of pairs of glasses, and then I usually just give up and continue with my dream while wearing the distorting and blurring glasses.

I'm not sure how to alleviate this effect, but I'm not sure I want to...it makes for an excellent dreamsign.

I sometimes have trouble seeing in dreams too, but I was thinking about trying to do the opposite of what you are doing. I was trying to think of more reality checks besides looking at the clock, looking at writing, etc. and I was thinking I could check myself for my glasses, because I don't ever remember being aware of having them on in a dream. I'll see how that works if I can just remember. That is a good dream sign tho; the squinty blurred vision thing.
