With Dreaming you need to start small and work hard grow your lucid dreaming lifestyle...
I'm not just a lucid dream, I'm a Somnonauts!!
“It’s... your conscience. We don’t talk a lot these days.”
Here is an updated list of dream signs that I just compiled to read before bed to help me become lucid.(Ordered roughly from most common to least common) |
|
"Lucid dreaming makes us kinder in everyday life. It shows us how our mind creates illusion, which allows us to see how other people's mind do the same. Once we see that, we realize that everybody is trying their best and that we're all in this together. We become a bit more tolerant and responsive, rather than closed and reactive."-Charlie Morley, Author of 'Dreams of Awakening: Lucid Dreaming and Mindfulness of Dream & Sleep'
Yeah, I have a few of those. Some I outgrow and then I barely see them again. Then there are those people from my past, who are like a bad penny, they always turn up. |

Stumbled onto this somehow. All of this is reminding me I need to update my general dream notes & details page on my DJ... Something for me to work on tomorrow. Maybe I should also catch up on my DV DJ a bit while I'm at it, will get me re-analysing past dreams that are no longer fresh in my memory. |

Singled out from some of my favourite quotes from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri: "Risks of [Planet] flowering: considerable. But rewards of godhood: who can measure? - Usurper Judaa'Maar: Courage: to question."
There is a reoccurring theme in some of my most memorable dreams of 3 elderly african american women who are always standing side by side and always assisting me in some critical junction. I haven't been able to have conversation with any of them but there is always a great warmth and compassion emanating from them. |

"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
I am more than I think am, I can become much more than that even
Re. sign 5 of Mikey5555, it is a general dream sign for everyone that electrical / electronic equipment doesn't work properly. It was the fact that our home computer was malfunctioning that produced my very first lucid dream. |

+ Playing racquetball/squash. I think I have NEVER gotten lucid in this context, despite weird things (like Christmas Trees!, radios, couches) frequenting the court. Too much attention on the ball! |

I would say my child hood home is a big one, I also know that if there is something printed I can't read it at all. My phone is one of the examples, I try to call someone or look something up and I just can't see the phone screen. Sometimes I wake up and think ugh I should have known I was dreaming because I couldn't read my phone, or a paper, a sign, or a book. |

- Any strong emotion is immediately suspect, as emotionally charged events are statistically far more likely to happen in the dream than reality |

Current projects:
-Acquire the Aurora
-Test galatamine, huperzine and choline
-Find smartwatch app for RC reminders at certain intervals
-Ressurect my dream log here, and become more active
I usually begin to dream that I am where I left off in waking reality. Before I try to lucid dream I leave on a night light. And I have a clock near me. I expect them to be broken if I'm dreaming. |

I going to add certain emotions. Since emotions can be even more powerful than just objects. Emotion, I'm keeping to myself. (In My Opinion of course.) |

People. I live outside the city and rarely interact with large group of people now. It's challenging to leverage this, through, as "being with people" is such an in-grained schema, that sitting up and taking notice (even during the waking day) usually doesn't happen until *after* an interaction. But I'm keeping on this, if I can master it I'll be omni |

^ That depends, I suppose! Try it, see if it works for you. If your dream emotions are a subset of the range of emotions, maybe just focus on those. |

A lot of times, if I'm outside during my dream, it's usually around twilight: the sky is that nice, darker, more muted blue color, and you can see a few stars starting to appear. I'm not sure why, but this is generally my favorite time of day, and I guess I take most of my walks around this time or later in the night. |
