It's me-but not now! expierianced -help

I have had several dreams which i'm in them, but not at my present state of mind. what I mean is - I could be having a vivid dream about when i was younger. But my mind set is the same mind set of when I was younger, Before I was ever introduced to Lucid dreaming. In return I do not see how it is possible to come to the conclusion that I am in a dream.
It is alittle frustrating because a good portion of my dreams revovle around the past. there are some where I am in my current state of mind. i then somtimes become lucid.

Weird. I never noticed this myself. Could be quite possible. I'll try it.

It is not anything you can try, it just happens that way. In your dream you have the mantal outlook of the time to which is taking place. So, If in my dream I were eleven, I would feel like I did when I was eleven. Therfore I cannot concieve in the dreams the things I am aware of now. Does that make any sense?

These probably just dream signs/dream FORMS.

Just memories, that become realities in your dreams, perhaps???

I wonder what might happen if you were yourself in the future?

Who else would you be? A present state of yourself No? It kind of messes with your head.
How could you Know the future without knowing the past?

Well I meant, next chance I get, I'll try to make myself to be in my younger years try to forget about lucid dreaming and see it that takes away my lucidity. (I forgot about this thread, there's so many!)

Perhaps, next time in an LD, try to read tomorrows newspaper, or next years...to see what happens in the world, or try to be 'yourself' in the future...if that works tell me.

Hello -Seeker - ShawdowNightwing -Kaniaz - Lowercase - Paperdoll Anybody!!!! Anyone have a clue what I am talking about. It happened again last night. Picture yourself having a dream tonight. You are in school and in the dream your mind feels like it did back then. I was introduced to Lucid dreamind 12 years out of High school. So how would you over come a hurdle like this to become Lucid?

I doubt I can help you with dreams, but I had a very, very similar experience.
I will not state what caused it... druggz
Basically I was going back in time. I can distinctly remember being somewhere around 12, 9, 6, and almost till 0.
I saw my life till 12, but it wasnt anything special.

Then magic number 12 hit. And I found myself in a LD like inviroment. I was standing next to my grandfather, who was opening a garage.

I looked around and it amazedd me I could actually see 360 degrees around me.

Then I lifted above ground and looked around.

Inviroment was 100% real and exactly as I remember.
Then I moved around and it absolutely amazed me...

Then it all become screwed... physical symptoms distracted me.

What I can say is: It's highly confusing...
I absolutely forgot about my current life. I kept going back.
I guess it ended with me forgetting words and operating in simple object terms. I guess it was as early as it could be...
I had an absolutely real 3d 360 degrees flashbacks from my memory.
      my memories came alive...

Amazing thing - your mind stores images of your state of mind.
When I was in my "12 years old" state of mind, I recalled some of the pictures of my current life, and they made absolutely no sense. It felt like it was years away...

      It was very very weird.

oh, yes! I forgot few things.

      a) In this experience I was in a Ld or LD like inviroment, but I didnt recognize I was in it. I didnt know about LD's or learning LD's .

      B) I had absolutely no memory of my present life and my memory kept clearing.

      c) I went to the point where I didnt recognize speech, didnt recognize people or inviroment, had no memory and basically had only a tiny flash of awareness, lost in dozens of flashbacks/visuals and intense physical pain...

Wow, that sounds very intriguing. Replaying actual stored pieces of memory again in your head during sleep as if you were still there, back then?

      Pretty cool

that is a prety cool story. You seem to be able to recall a lot of your dreams from the past. Isn't it wierd how an ordinary insignificant (or so you think) thought could envoke the thought of a dream you had a long time ago?

-That is what state I am in. I wonder if there is a way to somehow become lucid when in a sense you don't even know about it yet?
