      My first try at MILD

Last night I stated to myself "I will wake up after every dream period and I will remember my dream" before I went to sleep. I had a great dream, when I awoke I gathered my thoughts and went over to my desk and wrote them down. When I got up in the morning I could not remember my dream, so I went to my desk to see what it was about. There was no entry, I didn't even have my pen or my journal out of the drawer. Then I realized that I dreampt waking up and writing down my dream.

Getting in the habit of doing reality checks would come in handy in those situations!

Yes. However, one might find it a little bit problematic if say, your reality check was to upturn the desk and find out if it floated, because what if you did it in real life?

      Stupid thought, I know.

Yes. You might want to consider a more subtle approach for reality checks.
Or make sure you don't have a lot of expensive items on your desk.

Or that you are going to tick someone else off in the house that is sleeping when you upturn your desk in the middle of he night.

That stinks. :/ I had a dream somewhat like that awhile ago, I went to type up my dream to a computer in my room, but then realized the entry wouldn't be there when I woke up. But I never realized that I don't have a computer in my room...
