I have been working on dream recall for weeks. I have used every technique on this site, and have had very little recall to show for it. Any advice?

Have you tried waking up naturally, no alarms at all, but before you think about all the things you have to do that day think about your sleep. Personally dream recall like a series of pictures and i have to describe the pictures to make anysense out of them

Here's the things that worked best for me.

Before you go to sleep. Concentrate REALLY hard on the fact that you will remember your dreams. Tell yourself over and over you will remember them. If you wholeheartedly believe in yourself, it should become easier.

Also, when you wake up, INSTANTLY think about your dreams before you move or think of ANYTHING else. If you can't remember them, get up and walk around your house for about a minute. Maybe something will spark your memory. This happened to me this morning, I couldn't remember my dreams at all. Upon sitting down in front of my computer and seeing my friend's screenname, I instantly remembered the dream I had, which included him.

Hope these help you! :]

Sweet Dreams.

yeah I usuaually dont remember dreams immedeatley apon waking up, but need to go on with my day and usually remember them 5 or 10 minutes after i get out of bed and start brushing my teeth and what not. Sometimes something during the day will spark a recall also, which is always fun. I think everyone is different with their recall.

Or just drink a lot of water before bed.

Something that has worked for me is:
Before sleep get relaxed, release all of your muscle tension, calm you mind and say to your subconscious mind " I want to remember my dreams, I will remember my dreams, I am remembering my dreams. "

Keep on keeping on
