Thread: What Are My Dreamsigns.

Just look for anything in your dreams that could only happen in a dream, an obvious one is you flying but it could be something insignificant too, maybe your front door is green and in waking life it's red.

Then see if you can find any that keep happening in different dreams, as they're easier to spot in a dream if you've seen it before.

Could X float in mid-air in waking life? Then it's a dreamsign.

I think he's referring to recurring dreamsigns.

Now, I'll probably go over your dream journal later to help you out, if I get the time, but the best person to figure out your dreamsigns is you, so here's a tip. Dream signs fall into 4 categories:

• Inner Awareness: Peculiar thoughts, strange emotions, unusual sensations or altered perceptions.
• Action: The dreamer, a dream character, or an object does something unusual or impossible.
• Form: The dreamer's body or another body or object is oddly formed or changes form.
• Context: The setting or situation in a dream is anomalous.

Many people have a tendency to focus primarily on Action and Inner Awareness dream signs. Be sure that you're looking for all of the different types of dream signs. Personally, I find Context dream signs to be the most helpful for me to focus on, particularly the "situation" kind. For example, a common (situational) Context dream sign for me is chases. Usually it's me being chased, but sometimes I am the one doing the chasing. Another common (setting) Context dream sign for me is being in my old house/old neighborhood, which I moved out of 6 years ago. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is: make sure your taking note of all of your dreamsigns, not just the obvious ones.

I looked at your dream journal, and most of the dreams are way too vague and nondescript for me to offer much help. You should really try to record your dreams in more detail. Or maybe you already do in your physical dream journal, but anyway if you want help with your dreamsigns you should expand the details in your online journal.

Personally I like to write my dreams out as if they're short stories that others are going to read.

if i know what seems unusal in dreams how do i become lucid, it just feels normal

few nights ago i had a dream i was smashing a modified car with a crowbar that doesn't sound like somthing i'd do
and in that same dream i was in a space and and someone had an alien baby!?

and just last night somone stole my alarm clock and turned it on to wake me up and when i woke up it was going

but how can i realised that its just a dream

That's the hard part. Keep looking for them in your dream journal and hopefully you'll get used to them and be more aware of them in your dreams. If you find one that happened more than once, tell yourself - the next time that happens I will realise I'm dreaming! Could try looking for them when you're awake too, look for odd stuff and RC.

even the strangest dreams i just accept as reality.

my main dream sign if faulty light switches how can i get more of them into my dreams?

I think the only way would be to make sure you pay attention every time you use a light switch when you're awake and do it more often. I'm sure if you spent a whole day turning a light on and off you'd end up dreaming about it! Maybe think about switches when you fall asleep?

so far all my lucids are instant. one was when i spotted an incongruos element in my dreams.
it was a piece of sandwich Ham that was supporting a concrete structure.
i looked at it fixedly, it kept changing color. then it started moving around like it was alive. by then i was lucid.
i reached to grab it and suddenly a tremendous force pulled me up into the sky and i woke up lol.

funny you should say that i tried imagining light swiches one night it didn't work though also i found digital clocks to be a help in lucid dreaming
