just to start i was a member of the forums a while ago but haven't posted in nearly two years i think(got lucid a couple of times but never for long). but i was drawn back because of a recurring dreamsign i'm having more and more frequently. i always end up having babies in my dreams, sometimes they just appear and sometimes they transform from regular adult characters, but i always end up feeling really strong parental urges. it wouldn't bother me, but i do have an unusually strong urge to be a parent, and considering i'm a 19-year-old gay male it's gonna be quite a while before i will have children of my own, and these dreams always upset me, i always feel a little empty for a couple of days afterwards. is there any way of stopping these kind of dreams, or should i even try at all?
p.s) i think i'll be sticking around this time, i really want to do lucid dreams properly.

Yeah, you can use this as a dream sign. Next time, when you see a baby, do a reality check. If you don't see babies enough in your life, try to think of a baby once in a while, pretend it's there. Then do a reality check. If you focus your attention on babies, you will sooner or later notice that you're dreaming, when you see one.
Sometimes I have a parental urge too... I guess it's natural to have that sometimes. However, it seems to happen to you a lot. I suggest not worrying about it too much. I think you'd be a good father. :)

I have to agree, next time you see a baby, do a reality check.
Since you said you feel kind of empty afterwards, it could be that you just want to have someone/thing in your life for you to take care of ("mother".) I get those feelings as well, but my scenario is a bit different. I'm 27 and my son just started school this year! Instead of getting pregnant again, I opted for a kitten! Silly? Mayhap, but it's helped. I forgot how much work it was to deal with a baby, even if it is "just" a baby cat!
