help! Dream sign hard to ID in dream

70% of my dreams are me staring at my computer screen (no.. I dont play it that much.. I just think about what I do on it to much) with just the screen, no 3d depth. How am I supposed to get lucid in this senario? should I do Rts when Im on the computer alot or think about other things alot more or what?

well dream signs dont have to be abnormal, something that reoccurs in your dreams is a dream sign. so since you have a computer screen in most of your dreams, then your computer would be a dream sign. any time in the future you see a computer screen, do a reality check.

Try poking at your screen every 15 minutes while you're on the computer. Maybe then you'll start poking at it in your dream.

In order to get lucid, maybe you could invent a scene in the computer, and then dive into the screen, and it could become 3d?

to invent the scene, wouldnt you need to be lucid? and if he was just gonna poke the screen in his dream, how would that show he is in a dream? unless of course... after he started having dreams where he would poke the screen, then he would come to the conclusion that poking a computer screen is a dream sign.

poke the screen... if your finger goes through it, you know you're dreaming, and then you can become lucid and make a scene.

      k?

One thing I want to do is put a bright red digital clock next to my computer ( havent accomplished yet). In theory it will allow me to perform more RC and improve my chances of lucidity...

thanks for the help you all; remembering to do state checks is hard, and once you stop you'll stop in the dream. Im going to hafta get orginized and make sure I know which dream signs to check IRL.. and do it on every one of them every time. forgetting is easy though....

      Hi all,

The other day after reading this topic I thought that having some kind of reminder popup on the screen while using my computer may help me attain lucididty, so having read the topic I opened up my VB5 program and wrote a little .exe the will popup the message "Are You Dreaming".
I haven't been to school to learn programming but I've learned enough to do these little .exe files that fit my own personal use, so it is a bit limited but gets the job done.
It has been running for a couple of days but now but I haven't really had any luck, it pops up every 5 mins, this might be to frequent of a reminder, if anyone has any tips please confer.

      thanx
      tekdawg
