I'd count that as 4 separate dreams Bortolazzo since they were 4 different scenes at 4 different locations.
Although they may have been one continuous dream, there were 4 completely different themes, locations, and scenes, which to me counts as 4.
So give yourself credit for 4 dreams and pat yourself on the back for a job well done, remembering so many vivid and exciting dreams in one night.
How long a dream cycle can take in minutes varies greatly depending upon the person and how much sleep they have already had when the dream cycle occurs.
When I am allowed the luxury of sleeping longer than 8 hours, normally only on the weekend, I can often get my rem cycles to occur about every 5 to 10 minutes with dreams lasting a minute or less sometimes which allows me to rack up about 9 or 10 dreams in about an hour or more.
Rem cycles can often occur erratically.
I woke up the first time last night after 1 hr 45 minutes to remember only one dream, and then 50 minutes later I woke up and remembered 2 dreams, while the rest of the night the dreams came almost every hour to hour and a half.
Congratulations on a great start to what looks like is going to be a very productive and exciting dream journal.
