Aright, I know you're probably sick of helping every new person here but...
Anyways, my dream recall is pretty horrible. The past two weeks I have had only four recalls out of 14 days. Only two on one night, and two seperate. In my past three years, I've probably recalled only about 70 dreams.
-I have a banana before I go to bed.
-I go to sleep at 10:30, wake up at intervals at 3:30, 5:30, 6:30.
-I tell myself that I will recall dreams in the night.
-I write in a DJ every night. Although past few days I've had nothing to write...
So, is anyone willing to offer support or advice involving my little predicament?
Thanks.

Don't stress about it. Trying too hard can be counterproductive. Lapses in recall are totally normal, and happen to everyone. Sometimes your recall will be good, and sometimes it sucks. That's just the way it is. Relax a little! It'll be back again before you know it.
and welcome to the forum :)

yeah, try not to think much about it, in time along with patience and pixy dust, it'll be all good

I've been going through a pretty long slump, both in dream recall and LDs. I'm taking a month of not doing anything, in preparation for digging back into it.
Just observing what's going on with me though... I normally have effortless recall of at least a couple dreams each night. I also sleep well but light. When I wake, which happens many times each night, I have to make the choice of whether to think through the dream fresh in my mind - and thus have a chance of retaining it - or letting it go. Lately, because of circumstances in my life changing a bit, getting back to sleep as quickly as possible has been a higher priority for me.
So my advice is this: whenever you wake up, be it in the morning or during the night, make a very deliberate effort to remember what you were just dreaming. Record it somehow - at least in a quick outline or some other way to "hook" it for you later on, because it will fade away completely very quickly.
