well i've thought a bit about having a WILD before any sleep at at all, and I've come to the conclusion that its impossible because you need about 90 minutes of sleep before the required brain state is acheived... |

tried it last night. |

90 at least? |

Who sayd you need 90 minutes...thats a figure based on someones interpretation of dreaming. do you need it, maybe not? |

I thought the whole purpose of WILD is to directly enter into REM without the 90 minute cycle thing to disrupt recall and whatnot. |
|
but its a whole lot easier to obtain a WILD after 5-6hrs of sleep because your body is ready to enter REM sleep, when you first go to bed you'll have to keep your mind awake for a very very long time until your body totally shuts down and enters REM, but then its very short so even if you do start to feel yourself going into it, probably wont last and you'll keep yourself up all night trying.. but do what you want to do I guess, whatever works |

"You will cease to exist!!"
*GASP* "But existing is all I practically do!!!"
I find that if I meditate before bed, then my mind is already very relaxed, so I can go to sleep/start getting WILD results very quickly. |

I got told the spinning feeling while in bed is some kind of OBE, don't know how true this is? I am sure others must have it when they ae going to sleep you get the fab feeling of summersaulting and spinning wildly |
