      Heya

Okay, here's the thing. I've found my dreamsigns, about 5 or so.
      They are:
      (1 is most frequent)

1: Being stuck somewhere, ie. a room, or locked out, ie. I can't get into a place. I also sometimes find myself lost in places, or completely alone.

2: Fighting, shooting, explosions, weapons, bombs and stuff. They are all in probably 50% of my dreams.

3: Sex related stuff, like naked people, myself being naked, other people having sex in in front of me (?).

4: It's night, yet everything is clear and visible. The sky is completely black though. This happens in about 25% of my dreams.

5: Zombies, extremely fat/big people, mutants and super-natural beings.

Now, the problem is, I'm rarely stuck in places, I've barely ever handled a real weapon, I've never experienced a real explosion, I've never had sex, and never see people walking around naked, when it's night, it's usually dark aswell, and I rarely run into zombies and mutants.
So, how can I remember to do reality-checks when I see these things, when I never ever see them, except for in my dreams? It's weird, it should be easy, but no, it's not.

What sort of practice can I do, to train myself into doing reality-checks, whenever these kind of things happen?

That is my problem now. I posted about it as well since I can never see my dream signs for real. Someone replied and said to just try to do reality checks whenever you find yourself thinking of these things. I'm gonna try that. I also found a picture of my dream signs today (highscool friends) and made it my desktop so now everytime I log on or off or exit out of something I see them and I'll do a RC then.Maybe you can find a pic of a zombie or whatever. As far as the people having sex and extremely fat ppl, you could just do an RC whenever you see it on TV or something as well.Just an idea.

Hi, what U can do is 'visualize' those scenarios and physically act them out in Ur own room or something before U sleep or WBTB. If U have trouble visualizing then write a script about it and act it out physically. It's all about actual application... I haven't tried it but it should work since the mind relies on actually doing stuff.... U could lock Urself in Ur room or house and act it out the way U would in the dream but only this time U do an RC. As for the weaponry, U could get a toy gun or similar and act it out. Sounds crazy but if u really want LDs U gotta try anything. I would but my dreamsigns are real....:p.

Sounds like the average Hollywood movie! How about getting a bunch of DVDs? In fact, wasn't there a film called 'Fat Alien Sex Massacre' or something?

If there was a movie called that, I'd love to see it!

You have fairly interesting dreams - mine are about shopping or talking to people. If you can't have a LD just enjoy them, they sound unreal!

Instead of relying on dream signs to trigger a RC, just ask yourself every now and then, "Am I dreaming?". Or, whenever something remotely surprising or odd happens (even the mundane like the coffee machine running out just as it gets to you) do a RC. That will get you in the habit of questioning your reality based on surprising or weird occurences.

Zombies and naked people walking around are rather weird, so eventually it should implant into your mind and you question the validity of these things in your dreams.

Good luck! (and be thankful you have such awesome dream signs!)

Actually, I'd say you have it lucky! Because you know these things don't occur in real life, and you know they appear often in your dreams, all you have to do is be aware of that knowledge as you dream.

Perhaps you could ask yourself if guns/sex/zombies are around you as a reality check. Or, you could couple this thought with a normal, more subtantial reality check.

You don't have to do reality checks when you experience those experiences first-hand. Whenever you are reminded of the signs in any way during the waking state - do a reality check. When you see zombies on TV, shooting and fighting in a movie, read about being stuck or some other dream sign in a book, and so on.

Whenever the signs cross your mind is when you should do the reality checks. After all, it's not necessarily them you should look to to become aware you are dreaming but rather use them as triggers to do an independant reality check - whenever crossing them, second-take your current state in whatever way you do during reality checks (check where you are, what you're doing - mentally, whether you can put your finger through your palm or if you watch changes - physically).
