      dream recall and journal

      hiho everyone

lately I got to realize I don't use my dream journal to remember dreams anymore

actually, it started around a week ago, when I started to try to remember my dreams without the need for a journal

it was harder in the beginning yeah, but after some time i was so used to the state of mind I had to reach that it all became fluent

now I can remember around 2~3 dreams each night (more on weekends) without the need for a journal

what I do is to kind of get in a trance and then remember what I was doing just some time ago

Now I keep my dream journal only for fun, and to have a database of dreams I have

I wonder if everyone here depends on dream journals? (that's what it seems most of the time hehe)

I write in a dream journal to safeguard my recall from declining. My dream journal has become a symbol in a way. I see it, and my mind brings up a dream memory. <3

I like writing my dreams, even if I remember them. Because I know when I wake up, I will have forgotten the dream from earlier that night.

For me the answer would be no. I never really depended on my dream journal. I've always had a natural dream recall so the reason why I started was too increase my LD which it did. Now I use it took keep up just to right down every dream I have so I can look back on it. Also, in my time of Dry spells I find it helps me get back on my feet.
