For those of you who have lost your dream recall

About two weeks ago my dream recall fell to total shit, this was very frustrating and I didn't know how to fix this. Well I have a way that worked for me! Im not saying this is a full proof plan but its something that has helped me get my dream recall back and its very easy.

Ok so I had lost my dream recall and after trying many different ways to fix this I decided I would simply not think about lucid dreaming or dream recall for a while, so I didn't even go to dream views I didn't do anything dream related. After a week of this suddenly my dream recall slowly started coming in on its own! So my suggestion is, if you lost your recall take a break! Again this might not work for you but it worked for me! Good Luck!

      Indeed, the Question

Thanks for the tip. I've noticed that letting go can really help with lot's of things LD related...not to stress over it.

I'm currently trying to fix my recall a bit, so this may help.

Yep. This has been said before, but it's good you discovered it on your own.

In fact, you'll find that this is the solution to almost every problem in your LDing career. No matter what your issue is, just step back for a moment, and take a deep breath.

I had this same problem several months ago. My recall magically disappeared, and I decided "Alright, I'll stop. Just for a little while, I'll stop." I did no RCs, and didn't even write my dreams down. I hadn't realized until then, I was pushing too hard. The way I knew this? Because, it felt like a vacation not to have to recall. After a week I was refreshed, began again, and was back in the game.
"Of course it is all happening inside your head...but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"

      Hey there,

This isn't just dream related by the way. It's a well known principle in psychology too. Oftentimes sudden insights and break-throughs come exactly when the person is letting things rest for a while, give the mind a moment to unwind, catch its breath again.

Happy to hear it worked for you!
