Angry I'm so stupid when it comes to dreamsigns!

In my dreams, my body is basically invincible and I never feel pain, but I'm such a when dreaming. I've looked at completely mundane things before and became lucid, but I've seen things like a midget Hitler, a talking bear, and a naked man walking on the side of the road and DID NOT QUESTION THEIR PRESENCE WHATSOEVER How can I stop being such a naive, unquestioning moron in my dreams?

That's normal, believe me. It depends on what you're thinking about when you see it. Your logic part of your brain isn't active when you dream, I don't think.

You have to begin looking for repeating 'mundane things'.

I used to have random re-occuring cars in my dream. Nothing unusual about that.

Infact, being in your situation is almost easier. Because, you cannot do a reality check in real life when you see a midget Hitler!; but because we are surrounded by Mundane things its much easier to get into the habit of reality checks!

my example...If i did reality checks when I saw this mundane car...et voila! Lucid.

another cool idea is to PICK a mundane thing...like doors (im trying this myself) and reality check them all through waking life, so that you get the habit.

and this is STILL the best Reality Check/Observance thread I've read here

Well, I have a theory that in most cases when you see something really out of the ordinary in a dream, your brain is in a state of very low awareness. Although this is not always true, I find that (for me) it is most of the time.
