Problem concerning reality checks in dreams

For the past little while that i have been trying to lucid dream i have been doing frequent reality checks through out the days. When it comes to dreams though the most bizzare things can happen and i just excpet it as reality. Example: And organized baseball league is playing a game in a tiny little kitchen about 10 feet by 10 feet while the numbers on the wall giving the distance to the fence says 188ft in left part of the kitchen and 400 ft to the center of the kitchen. Now their is no way this is possible but i accept it as reality. In another in a dream im comming out of my elementry school and walking over to my highschool witch is right across the road in reality to. Then it starts T-stormin like a mother outside and i almost get hit by a lgihtning bolt. Then i go inside my high school to find it has been turned into a mall/school with a giat glass wall abput 100 ft high and 100 ft long with fast food chains across the whole damn side. But know i don't do a reality check i just continue on dreamin. This is really annoying because it's so far fecthed. Is their anything i can do just to tell my self to do a reality check or sommin?

You have to better prepare for that in real life to get results in-dream. A method that proves useful to me is perusing your dream journal for five distinct dream signs, then apply them to things you see everyday. If all your dreams are in odd context or form, you may consider doing a RC every time something ridiculous happens. (Including on TV.)

If all your dreams are in locations you don't recognize, RC every time you enter a new place to assure you know where you are and why. Create a list of 5 along these lines, and preform RC throughout the day when one occurs. Write it on a postcard or something and carry it around. You shouldn't have too much trouble remembering to do them.

ok i will try to do that more often. but all my friends are you like WTF?!?! when i say am i dreaming right now, yes, yes, i have got to be in a dream.

Do the RC in your head if you must or a bit later in private so no one looks at you strange. haha.
