It's okay, when we dream we almost always accept what occurs no matter how bizzare (like when we are awake and something bizzare happens, we don't normally question reality, unless you are practicing preforming reality checks). |

Cant see dcs if they are staring me in the face :(
I am getting good dream recall recently, I am remembering and writing down at least 3 dreams a day, and today I almost remembered 4. But I just can't seem to notice dream signs, for instance I had 2 5s and a 7 dollar bill to pay for some illegal liquor with my step mom lol
Or for instance I remember looking for a kid that was killed and buried and we found a big gigantic magestic peak, with the top cut off in a strait line and the part that was cut off (500 or so feet up) floating in a big sort of crater/peak
Why arn't I noticing these dream signs, I feel I should because a 7 dollar bill or floating peak is no out of the ordinary than some pink dinosaur pillows, which I noticed and became lucid for the 4th time

im no expert, but somehow the subconcious mind tricks you into believing whatever is happening to be real. Even if the most outrageous things are happening. Once I was riding a rollercoaster using a bus full of people.
Personally I find dream signs TOO unreliable, so i dont depend or use them. If dream signs aren't your thing, then you probably should try other methods of inducing lucid dreams.
Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard

Like I said in another post, the logic central of the brain (cerebreal cortex) shuts down during sleep. The way we manage to realize dream signs is by habit. If we have the habit of being logical then during dreams the habit central (which is active during sleep) activates the logic central. But just like any other habit, it needs to be deeply in-set for us to follow it all the time (especially a habit involving the activation of another part of the brain.)

When a person does not have a consistent dream sign, it typically means that ther is simply no constant obsessive dream-thoughts throughout the subconscious mind of the individual. It would also give me the incentive that you would consider yourself a happy and content person at the time.
Don't have a dream sign? Induce one! Best idea! First, try some experiments. The most effective one is to drink a lot of water before going to bed and then in the morning, take note of what the dream was. Typically, the dream will be somatically induced by the intense phsyical need to urinate (when you gotta go, what else can you think about?).
Once you are aware of what your somatically induced dream of urination is, use that as a dream sign!
