although i rarely dream when i do (and when ive read through my old dream journals) they are always generally involving somewhat the same thing:
either me looking for drugs, or getting caught with drugs, or taking drugs and them not working etc...
is this a dream sign?

I have common themes, but I wish I had common dream signs. It would be a lot easier to rememeber and preform RCs.
