When i started to write a journal and tried to remember my dreams i usually got 2-3 dreams a night. Now my recall have been worse , i only remember 1 dream per night tops. I also feel very tired when i wake up in the night. Any tips on what to do?

Have you been keeping a journal? If not, don't stop that. Also, make sure your intentions are high in remember recall. Before you sleep, think " I will remember my dreams when I awaken". Make sure you get enough sleep too, because if you don't you may not enter a REM sleep, or you may not have long REM sleep because the longer you sleep the longer your REM sleep periods become.

the same thing happened to me for a while. it ended up just being that i needed more sleep. 2 more hours doubled the number of dreams i remember and tripled the length i could recall. amount of rest has a big impact on recall
And dont move at all when you wake up! this is maybe a little strange to realize but youre recall from waking up not moving to lift a finger and focus on you surroundings, like opening your eyes, can be a tremendious loss of recall. So while lying there try to remember as much as you can, without falling to sleep again, and try to make words that connect your experience and help you remember when youre writing down. Im not good at this myself but this is maybe the most important part of lets say having an LD. If you forget a LD, you never had one.
