last night, I tried to put my finger through a counter top, but it didn't work, so I tried using the 'force' to grab a bag of hamburger buns across the room, and that worked.

Pinching the nose and finger-palm have both failed me a couple of times. Finger-palm and # of fingers usually work, though. Haven't really tried any others yet.
