      Dreams as Reality - Recall Method

      Hey DV. I know there are a lot of people who have problems remembering dreams, even right after they wake up, so I though I'd share my method.

      Dream recall comes naturally to me and I remember at least one dream every night (though there are exceptions when I'm stressed or simply don't care what I dreamed.) I've been trying to figure out how I remember them so well, and it turns out it's because I'm not thinking about my dreams as if they're imaginary, I'm thinking about them as if they actually happened.

      So basically, try to remember what you did last night, as if it actually happened in real life.

      It seems to work for me. Let me know how it works for you of if you already do anything similar, yeah?

      Quite frankly, that;'s brilliant. Such a simple technique that it had previouslyt been overlooked by... Assumedly everyone on the site. I shall try that tomorrow, or the next time I have trouble with a dream. Thanks to you, bcomp!

      (PS: THe way I usually try to remember dreams is, if I wake up from a dream, I think, "woah, what just happened?" untiul I either remember something or give up, and if I have a fragment or a dream with nbits missin g, I fill it in like a puxxle where you have to paint in some of the missing pieces, working from the edges between the blank and the remembered. This will be an excellent technique for waking out of a non-dream cycle.)

      Haha at first I didn't understand having to consciously think of them this way, because that is how I treat all of my dreams. And I do have fantastic recall (7+/night) and crazy dreams. Maybe that is the way for people to go about thinking of them!

      this is what i always do, when i wake up i ask myself, "what was i just doing?" and i start remembering the dream.

      Myself, its been since always that i feel like i was actually doing what i dreamt about untill my head realizes it was a dream.

      so yah, i recommend trying this.
