memory improving / dream recalling

Hi,
First time in here :boogie:

Wish to get your opinion: can memory improving increase dream recall?

I've asked a few people about it, also physician and been told me there are few kinds of exercises and even some PC applications that are good for memory improvement.

I've searched online - and among others found company called "CogniFit" - they got website with demo versions for their software (for example Brain memory improvement games ) the main product goes by the name "MindFit".

I wish to know if it's really works and really improving memory, and how would it help with dream recalling (before I'm buying the software :oops: ).

I don't see any point why it shouldn't work, but I would suggest to look for free Versions

But they ain't got free versions, just a really minimal demo version.. :roll:

What I meant were other programs or games, you could also try tutorials.

This worked for me.
I saw water a lot and people suggested RC everytime you see water during the day.
Thing is, we see water all the time and I never click in me dream and go "hey look...water!".
So what I did realise is I saw many past friends and work mates who i would never see now.
So what I did is repeat to myself through the day "If I see someone that I shouldn't see now, do a Reality Check".
This helped me not waste time on dream recall so much.
If you haven't a clue what you see regularly, use a Dream Journal.
If you do know, just focus on what you do know and work on that.

So I guess the PC software might help me?

I think I'll have to check it and see for myself :)

A dream journal used to help me remember my dreams before i knew about lucid dreams. But i stoped writing everything down and i noticed i stoped remembering! I think i will go back to writing it down.
Any suggestions?

That's exactly my point - I wish to improve my memory and not write thing down instead of remember them :roll:

What you need to do is keep a dreamjournal in your head if you don't want to write them down. Memorize every single dream, and being able to recall them all at any point in time.

I'vve been learnign to count cards recently (not for gambling, but to improve memory and relearn basic math skills), and the past few days are the first I've ever really had more than one dream in a single period of sleep. So yeah, I'd say working to improve waking memory also helps to improve recall.
