      Dream Recall and Smokin' Ganja

Is anyone out there able to recall their dream every night and smoke weed everyday?

What about other substance usage...Is anyone able to remember their dreams every night while being a daily user of anything?

I just wanted to add a little bit. At first, if I smoked bud at any time during the day, I couldn't remember my dreams for the life of me. Then, after about a month, I started remembering more and more. Since then, I've been doing a lot more reality checks during the day.
It seems that doing a lot of reality checks alone is enough to improve dream recall greatly.

Another question...does anyone out there feel that doing a lot of reality checks improves dream recall?

The much discussed effects of marajuana (tetrahydracannabinol) and it's effects on dreaming have various answers.

Generally, the results are that the content of dreams affected by THC are very sporadic and tend to have no cohesion whatsoever. Due to the abundant THC receptors within the hippocampus integrated with the various other residual neruological effects of THC (pineal, primarily), the dreams of THC effected dreams are generally sporadic, if recalled at all.

There is another topic on this right below in this forum I believe...

I am considering conducting a large research on the effects of all vitamins with dreaming.. I'm including all drugs, what do you think ThomasELEN?

I think that is a very good idea O'nus. I think some companies might even be interested in purchasing the data from your research efforts.
I would be more than happy to answer any sort of questionnaire you come up with.

This would be beneficial to so many people. You could come up with an exact formula that will increase dream recall. Who wouldn't love that?

Just in case this is helpful to you, caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, and adderall have all impaired my ability to recall dreams. It seems like the stimulants like caffeine and adderall impair me the most.

After much effort, I can now recall at least part of every dream I have every night. I'm also taking this brain pill stuff. The bottle says "Omega-3 DHA TG". I think it's some kind of fish oil. I think those brain pills are helping b/c as soon as I started taking them, I didn't feel groggy and out of it when I woke up. I'm sure since I'm more conscious upon waking up, that I'm more conscious during sleep.

Hope that helps you out. Let me know if you need any help in your study if you decide to pursue it.

      Weed and Dream Recall

I was a "Chronic" smoker..haha for...lets say for years ...I didnt really notice a change in me remembering my dreams. I still recalled about 5 dreams per night, clearly and smoked alot every day. I think if you think its screwing with your dream recall it will...if you just know you will remember your dreams you will...its all a mind game

PS. I realize than whenever I go to sleep buzzed or drunk...I always have a lucid dream at least 1 that night. I guess since your drunk your in a deeper sleep? Who knows but get trashed and try it! haah
I hope Freddy Kruger comes into my dreams one day so I can Fuck him up bad!

I don't smoke very often, but
when I do I seem to have more
      interesting and epic, non-lucid dreams.
