      Recall getting harder

I've started a dream journal and have been making entries in it for just over a week. I started out strong, remembering two to three dreams per night. But now I seem to be having a difficult time remembering even one a night. Is this normal? How can I increase dream recall?

I think your motivation has dropped, because it became routine.

Solution: Get your motivation up, start doing MILD or something

I can't yet Lucid Dream. I've tried MILD and DILD. Actually, I've even tried WILD. No luck yet. I know it'll come.

As far as the motivation goes, could be. I still feel quite motivated, but perhaps my mind has made it into something not as exciting as it once was. Thanks for the suggestions, though!

I'm posting kind of late but... maybe try writing down old dreams when you can't remember any recent ones. (This helps me a lot when I'm starved for more dream material to write down). It'll give you practice with dream recall and it might help trigger a more recent memory
