A Good Reality Check?

I think ive found one out. It requires a culinary dream of sorts, though ;) What you need for this is a house, and a fridge filled with your favorite foods that you would probably be eating in a dream. (Note: It needs to stimulate effectively some sense with a specific reaction after smelling) I will use lemonade as an example, since I drink it quite a lot.

My Steps:

1. Smell your chosen product. i.e. Smell your lemonade.

2. Think and remember the saliva being produced under your tongue. Remember the feeling of the bitter and sourness affecting the amount of liquid in your mouth.

3. Take a drink / bite of your chosen product. Remember the taste, where you taste it most. For example, I taste my lemonade more around the back left and right parts of my tongue.

4. Take a big swig / bight of your meal. Allow it to crunch or drip inside your mouth, and remember this feeling.

5. Give yourself suggestions before you go to bed (Being hungry/thirsty may help to) The suggestion may be: Mmm, lemonade. I hope the lemonade in my dream tonight is tasty. Not only does this suggestion completely imply that you will have a dream, it is 100% that you will drink lemonade in this dream.

6. In your dream, the imagery you should be eating or drinking this product. When this happens, your subconcious will remember the amazing imagery from before, and so will you, therfor remembering something happening in the waking world and giving you a small alert hint that you are in a dream.


I haven't done it yet, but im really hoping it works. Im trying quite a lot of techniques tonight, so perhaps I will have a LD? ;)

As I always say, ANYTHING can be a reality check, simply focusing on your breath, reading text, looking at an item, or even trying some kind of dream power. If you believe it will work, it will. It's that simple. ANYTHING can be a reality check.
